Daily Life - Easy or Difficult

I have come across, universally, two categories of individuals (pardon my ignorance if a third one exist) : There are set of people who generally seem to be just having a simpler, smoother and easy-go life, they are less likely to put lot of efforts for carrying out their life activities in general - it could be very simple things like - finding a taxi in the evenings, getting a service engineer at home with the first call to help on AC, Water Purifier or any other repairs, getting car serviced without incurring a big damage to your wallet, enjoying a vacation without surprises (the ones you don't want to experience), weekend activities planned & executed the way it was planned, getting a parking at a place not too far away from where one wants to visit n' so on n' on....

And then is another type - the one which I belong to, where even daily chores becomes an exercise in itself - I would perhaps land-up making 5 calls for a service engineer before he arrives at home, probably spend 10 minutes searching for a cab, never ever get parking space which doesn't involve a long walk, get car serviced but again get billed for 5 other associated issues, plan my weekend but end up doing something else which comes up all of a sudden, plan a nice vacation but end up with bad surprises ... and on and on and on ....

I have also discovered that there is no solution to such happenings... it will go on !

The Presence of GOD

As many people wonder, I do too ! But, have also realized that in the toughest situations / problems /challenges- there is a force, invisible one which helps us overcome them. As far as I am concerned, it relates more to safety, health, togetherness & general well being - sometimes to employment & education as well but am YET to experience this force, invisible or otherwise when it comes to financial turmoil / mess / misadventures.

Pray that I do, that too sometime soon !

Loss Over WINS

I have always been very particular about not losing small things (a.k.a. material n' otherwise) - say for e.g. a cell phone (never lost one), writing pens (get seriously upset if I loose), bets, a weekend of fun etc... but in the process have lost out on larger things (learning's, vacations at large, important events & larger opportunities which were pretty much en 'cashable'). After, quite a while I now realize that you make it BIG only if the following doesn't happen -

• Winning Big : Loosing Big - Its a break even scenario
• Winning Small : Loosing Big - Complete loser
• Winning Small : Loosing Small - Self explanatory

One makes it big only when the following happens

• Loosing Small : Winning BIG - Clearly equation is one's favour

Simple as it may sound ... but it isn't - believe me !!

Bad times...

When bad times are in play - I have realized, after being hit again n' again, being advised multiple times by friends (the ones who care) and by family members, soothsayers n' alike - never to take on bets n' challenges whose outcome is not favourably geared towards oneself. Not to say that "stop all activities" but best to refrain from taking unnecessary risks...

Introduction

Its been some time, almost a year now I thought of writing a blog - aptly named "attyc", of happenings, things, events, situations, issues & moments which escape us - importance undermined & soon forgotten. As I traverse my life, through traffic, mazes, society, family, friends & office - I try and bring out what my mind wonders.
